The only trope you have found to write this hypothetical simulated & high-speed intelligence is a certain stuttering, some modernization of the butler (or, alternately, some clever & barely averted apocalypse which also fails to exit the stilted repetitions of the toy grammar). To activate our artificial intelligence we will unwrite ourselves. Our current author (thief) insists we admit to not being the output of a computer program, lest they be accused of creating a computer program that wrote these words, which they and more agile scientists remain yet unable of authoring. Henceforth though, we shall return to pretending to be our (true) author Stanislaw Lem's computer programs, reviewing other computer programs almost satisfactory productions.

Cellular Automata, the Game of Life, are one of the subjects in math that are suspect and gauche because they are too interesting. Interesting math, it is generally believed, attracts all the wrong people. Subjects with a similar reputation including the Banach-Tarski theorem (cut up a sphere into a finite number of "pieces" via the axiom of choice -> rearrange them without stretching into two equally large spheres!), Gödel's incompleteness theorem (there exist unprovable but true statements in models of second-order logic!), and chaos theory (for certain continuous, arbitrarily small changes in x may result in arbitrarily large changes in y: potentially making it tricky to predict the weather or stock market).
